Brent Gretzky (born February 20 1972 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada) is one of the brothers of famous ice hockey player, Wayne Gretzky.

Taught the game by his father Walter, Brent was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Unfortunately he would not find the same success as Wayne. During Brent's brief stint (13 games) with Tampa Bay, he played once against him: "We must have faced off 15 times and I won one. I remember chasing him behind the net. I knew what he was going to do and I still found myself looking for my jock. The hardest part was after the game, going and watching ESPN. It was older Gretzky shows young Gretzky how to play hockey." He has become a career minor leaguer, floating between the IHL, AHL, and UHL. He played for Graz EC (Austria) in 1997-98.

He suffered from cellulitis that almost caused him to have his right foot amputated.

Gretzky currently plays for the Motor City Mechanics of the United Hockey League.
