Heggade

Roots & Geogrophical Spread

Heggades are a community with roots near Mangalore in the south western coastal region of the state of Karnataka in India. Most members of this community use their community name, generally spelt as 'Hegde' as their last name and live in the Mangalore and Udipi districts of Karnataka - formerly known as Dakshina Kannada or South Kanara.
