York County School District 3 is also known as the Rock Hill School District. It is the largest of the 4 public school districts in York County, South Carolina. The district serves students in and around the city of Rock Hill, approximately 20 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Lynn Moody is the district superintendent. School board members are Walter Brown, Mildred Douglas, Bob Norwood, Ann Reid, Mikki Rentschler, Dr. Jason Silverman, and Jim Vining.
