Any comment appreciated
Any comments, particularly if I've made any mistakes here Wikipedia:Reference desk/Humanities#Sorting of Indonesian names about how Malaysian names are sorted in phone books. If you have information on how Indonesian names are sorted, even better. Nil Einne (talk) 11:45, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Someone at WP:BLP/N pointed out that the article has extensive mention of controversies but little else, a rather sorry state of affairs given that he is probably going to be the next PM Nil Einne (talk) 10:48, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi! This article was recently created with copyvio text and sent to AfD. I changed the text so that it would not be deleted, but it is a very short list without any context, since I know absolutely nothing about Malaysian artists (except that the topic is notable!). Anyway, I figured this would be the place to let people know it needed cleaning up! SMSpivey (talk) 06:02, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Collaboration of the month
The article Kinabalu National Park has been the collaboration of the month since November last year. Besides that, I also noticed that we have a lack of voters for the current nominees. If this condition persists for another week or so, I think that Port Klang should just be selected as the next collaboration that we should work on. Acs4b T C U 03:28, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Royal capital links
I have a question about a template concerning Malaysia at Template talk:Subdivisions of Malaysia. I don't know anything about Malaysia's subdivisions (nor about any part of Malaysia besides Kuala Lumpur airport), so I would appreciate some enlightenment. Thank you, Kusma (talk) 11:10, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have fixed the problem by removing the demographics link in the template. --Joshua Say "hi" to me!What I've done? 12:53, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Coordinators' working group
Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.
All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. If your project hasn't formally designated any editors as coordinators, but you are someone who regularly deals with coordination tasks in the project, please feel free to join as well. — Delievered by §hepBot (Disable) on behalf of the WikiProject coordinators' working group at 05:54, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Manual of Style for Malaysia-related articles
Dear Members, you are invited to participate in a discussion to create a standardised or uniform style or format when dealing with Malaysia-related articles in Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Malaysia-related articles). The discussion encompasses issues such as naming conventions (for article names, people's name, name of places, etc), use of honorifics and titles, use of alternative scripts (chinese, jawi), template and infobox, and other issues. The MOS-MY was still in a proposal stage but it has been tagged as inactive because of lack of discussion. Perhaps we could try and complete the manual in order to make it into a proper Wikipedia style guideline. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 03:53, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Please help - category
Please could someone have a look at this category ? It doesn't link to a higher category and I'm not sure what to join it on to. Thanks. thisisace (talk) 22:42, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- First of all, what is Wayang Tinggi? If it is a record label, then maybe you can categorize it under Category:Malaysian record labels. If it is a general media or entertainment company, you can use Category:Entertainment companies of Malaysia. For other categories, see Category:Companies of Malaysia and its subcategories. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 08:48, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Brief biographies in the list
The List of Malaysian writers includes five brief bios. Is this usual? Also, some of the brief bios could be expanded to stubs. --DThomsen8 (talk) 00:28, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think that article should only be a list. That means: no brief bios. That page needs to be cleaned up. ќמшמφטтгמtorque 08:51, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
