Muldoon was openly pro-Texan, which led to a brief imprisonment. He made an appearance back in Texas in 1842 when he was given a letter of appreciation from Anson Jones. After that Father Muldoon disappeared from history and his final resting-place is unknown. Muldoon has a Kerr Stone built in 1890 and had the a quarry which made the Galveston jetties.
