ART Television also known as Art TV is a television channel which broadcasts around the greater Colombo and Kandy region of Sri Lanka. The channel which is privately owned broadcasts material in English.

Programming

ART Television broadcasts various English sitcoms, movies and news programmes. The channel broadcasts news programmes (mainly business) and relays a live broadcast of CNN. ART Television provides cartoons and dramas to entertain it's younger viewers.


Dyna Vision

ART Television was launched as "Dynavision" in 1992. In 2003, it changed its name to ARTv.


Technology

ART Television is the only terrestrial broadcaster in Sri Lanka which broadcasts with stereo audio.
