Wascana Creek
Appearance
Wascana Creek originates in the fields east of Regina, Saskatchewan near Vibank, Saskatchewan and travels southeast for approximately 45 kilometers before turning back west at Tyvan, Saskatchewan. The creek then traves in a northwestwardly direction through Regina. The Creek was dammed by the CPR and became Wascana Lake. The creek leaves Regina and ends at the Qu'Appelle River in Lumsden, Saskatchewan. The Creek and its tributaries drain over 2,200 square kilometers and land.
Sherwood Forest Bridge is one of the bridges that crosses Wascana Creek.
Fish species
The creek contains walleye, yellow perch, northern pike, white sucker and burbot.
