Pitch

Pitch can refer to any of the following:

• Pitch (music) -- The property of a sound or musical tone measured by its perceived frequency
  • See also pitch class, relative pitch, absolute pitch, pitch space
• In linguistics pitch, or tone of voice, refers to variation of tone in tonal language, and in languages with melodic accent
• In flight dynamics pitch can refer to:
  • A measure of an aircraft's attitude (nose up or nose down)
  • A measure of the angle of a propeller
• Pitch (resin) -- Any of several types of resins
• Tar pitch or bitumen
• Pitch (cricket) -- part of the playing area in the sport of cricket
• Pitch (geographic) -- A vertical space; a term originally used in mining, now also used in the sports of caving and climbing
