Thesprotus (Template:Lang-el) the eponymous hero of Thesprotia was a son of Lycaon. Thesprotus' son was Ambrax eponymous of Ambracia.

Thesprotus king of the country where Lake Avernus is said to be , related to the myth of Thyestes and Atreus.
