legend
I correct the legend of ranmaru mori Koei's pic. Ranmaru is a man not a woman. Mizunoryu 大熊猫❤小熊猫 (talk) 15:05, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
contreversial statement
"It is widely understood that Oda and Mori had a sexual relationship that was commonly found in those times"
I think it should be precised that there are no contempary sources that can be used to prove this. I mean, this fact was especially stressed by the nanshoku litterature of the Edo period (the sources mentioned are from the beginning of the XVIIIe century whereas Ranmaru died in 1582) that praised the almost feminine beauty and the fidelity of Ranmaru. Nanshoku is a bit like courtly love in medieval Europe : though highly praised in litterature, it is very difficult to know to what extent it was practiced in reality (I can think of only three written sources about this : a statement made by a a japanese author in 1482, one made by a jesuit priest in the late XVIe century, and a letter from Takeda Shingen to his lover).
