"This One's for the Girls"
Song

"This One's for the Girls" is the lead single from country singer Martina McBride's Martina album. The song's lyrics are a salute to women of various ages dealing with the struggles of different phases of life, telling them "You're beautiful the way you are."

The song was released to country radio in the summer of 2003 and peaked at #3 on the charts. A remixed version of the song was also a #1 hit on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts. This version remained released only to radio until Playlist: The Very Best of Martina McBride was released in 2008.

The song features backing vocals from McBride's daughters, Delaney and Emma, as well as Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Hillary Lindsey, and Faith Hill.[1]

Girl Authority covered the song for their 2007 album, Road Trip.

Additionally, it was used in promos for the 2003-2004 season of The View.[citation needed]

This song is on the Rock Band Country Track Pack and has been confirmed as upcoming downloadable content for the Rock Band series.
