August 2007Your multiple edits to the Shyam were unconstructive and did not serve to further the information of the article. Since Shyam is a stub, it needs a lot of special attention to keep it up to Wikipedia's standards for content. If you have informational content to add to the page, discuss it on the article's talk page first. If no one can give you a consensus after at least five days but you still want to add your information, please be sure you have a credible information source to cite along with the information. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Sonam Kapoor, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi, I sent you a rather gentle warning on the matter. You removed a link to an article from a highly known and reputable magazine and replaced it with a link to a video page. What would have been more appropriate is to add that link in the external links category, and NOT remove a valid citation. Hope that explains the rational (and how you can resolve the issue in a way more suited to not undoing someone else's work in favor of your own, while still including your own input into the article).- Best, RobertMfromLI | User Talk 12:50, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps, adding it as a second citation may work as well... (leaving the other one intact). RobertMfromLI | User Talk 12:52, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'm trying to find a better reference. It's a 23 minute video that includes a segment on it. Perhaps one of these links?
- (includes video)
- Or this one from TechRadar (that includes a link to the page you previously used):
- That will allow people to read the text information and/or view the video as well.
- BUT, I would suggest perhaps some other article cleanup? Remove the Linux device category, and perhaps add one of the links above. Apologies if the warning was construed as more than constructive suggestion/criticism (it has been removed, btw).

Thank you...
Thank you for taking the time to rationally and politely request that I review my action, including the added time to explain your rationale and the more recent sources. It is greatly appreciated, and I hope you take the time to set up an account to use as a permanent editor. Sorry I missed the reasoning for your cite change till you pointed it out, but at 2 or 3 minutes into the video, I still hadn't heard anything about the Sakshat.
