Available on most digital cable sytems is at least a little inaccurate (if not completely inaccurate), or at least a widely disputed claim that's not NPOV. Here is an (admittedly unverifiable) quote from [1]:

As for the issue on Boomerang, all those who are concerned about where to get it are 100% right. Boomerang, quite frankly, isn't even available in the U.S at all. I'm serious. The only cable providers that provide this are AuStar and Foxtel and guess where you can find that? Australia!!

Now that was a little while ago, but I know I don't see Boomerang on my (Comcast) digital cable lineup and never have. Though the above may be an exaggeration, its availability may be largely limited to satellite services. I've seen it on Time Warner Cable lineups, but, well, you know where the wheels are greased there. Morgan Wick 08:28, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is on Cox Digital which goes to 7 million plus households in the US.68.9.173.186 14:37, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Tommy[reply]

It's on my local program package from Micontinent Communications Oystermind 21:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have Verizon FIOS. I have it as a channel on their basic cable. I watched The Smurfs on it last night. Dpm12 - March 15, 2008 (10:46AM).

"The Program Exchange"

Let's get one thing straight here: The Program Exchange is merely a syndication distributor, and not the original company that produced the shows in question (Bullwinkle, Garfield, Underdog, Tennesee Tuxedo). Furthermore, the version of Garfield and Friends airing is the R1 DVD version (the one that replaces U.S. Acres with "Orson's Farm"; and restores the "Friends are there..." opening). Now I have removed the "Program Exchange" mention and replaced it with the original individual production or animation companies that made these shows, and I ask that this please be left intact.

The Name

Does the meaning of the name deserve a mention? (Early ads for the channel had the catchphrase "It's all coming back to you".) Oystermind 21:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looney Tunes

There is barely any Looney Tunes programming anymore, if any. 67.188.172.165 17:19, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Drat! How odd of Boomerang to destroy its own nostalgic reputation. Thank Warner Bros. for allowing us the gift of the Looney Tunes Golden Collections. --- JS, 19:15, 26 October 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.110.47.73 (talk)

Baby Looney Tunes airs on it. User:Dpm12

The United Sates Channel

This section really needs to be re-done, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Anyone else want to give it a go? --12.205.193.140 (talk) 09:47, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. We need to find out what broadcasters offer it as an actual "channel" I get it on DirecTV, but it isn't noted. Gamloverks (talk) 17:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Verizon FIOS offers it as an actual channel. It's on cl 228. Dpm12.

Fair use rationale for Image:Minilogoboomerang.jpg

Image:Minilogoboomerang.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Not on channel 182 on Comcast

I just looked, there is no channel 182 it's only on demand. I have every channel, and it's not there. I'm actually dissapointed, I wish they had it still, I love the old shows. :(. Fresh Prince Carlton —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.180.227 (talk) 21:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Same here, now I can't see some of the old shows I used to love :( - Crazyconan (talk) 06:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reun channel

Has Boomerang ever aired first-run programs?

Is there a designation for channels, such as NickToons, TV Land, Biography, and SoapNet, which primarily air reruns?

I'm going to be bold and merge Boomerang around the world here. Normally I'd discuss first, but this is a pretty clearcut case of a fork that needs to be merged back in; they cover the same info, and this page is not long at all. There's also some FU images with rationales only for this article. I'm leaving the talk page of Boomerang around the world intact at Talk:Boomerang around the world. If there's any problem with this merge definitely let me know and we'll figure something out. delldot ∇. 23:33, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Boomeraction

I watched Teen Titans on the block last Thursday and Friday. These episodes were entitled "Crash" and "Haunted". But the main thing about this section is Boomeraction rocks, Boomerang is fair, and Cartoon Network sucks now. Thank you veedy much about reading this section! Bye! :)
