Transformers: Prime is an upcoming computer-animated series currently in the works and is set to premiere on October 10, 2010 on The Hub (Hasbro's new joint venture with the Discovery Channel).

  • Megatron - Leader of the Decepticons, transforms into a Cybertronian jet. He believes that Earth-style forms are beneath him.
  • Soundwave - Transforms into a Cybertronian truck.
  • Starscream - Transforms into a Cybertronian jet.
  • Decepticon Troopers - Troops (also known as drones) who serve as foot soldiers for the Decepticons. They transform into purple cars.

Transformers: Prime will begin airing on The Hub sometime in the fall.

When asked when the show would debut, the showrunners commented that their obligation is to provide the episodes and as of right now, The Hub does not have a solid date of when Transformers: Prime will premiere.[2] However, Advertising Age reports that the show will premiere when the network debuts on October 10, 2010.[3]

Sneak peek

The first designs of the Prime series Transformers were first shown off at Botcon 2010, a convention for all Transformers fans, at the Transformers: Prime Panel.
