Fairly OddBaby is a 2008 made-for-television movie and season premiere of The Fairly OddParentssixth season, which first aired on February 18, 2008 after Jimmy Neutron And The Fairly Oddparents Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 3 ended after Ni Hao Kia-lan was first aired on TV.[1] The episode was the first to air after a one-year hiatus.[2] The special centers on the newborn child of Cosmo and Wanda, Timmy's fairy godparents, which sends both the human world and Fairy World into tumult.[1]

In its initial airing, the episode had 8.81 million viewers, making it the highest-rated cable show for the week of February 18-24, 2008. The re-airing of the movie the following day had 4.82 million viewers.[3]

Plot

When Timmy learns his fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, want a child, he's propelled into wishing for a baby of their own. The child ends up being the first fairy baby born in thousands of years, leading the pixies and Anti-faries trying to kidnap the child. Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda and Jorgen Von Strangle try to retrieve the baby, who eventually turns out to be a boy and is named Poof by Timmy, named after Poof's first word.
