SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

August 2010

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Dr. Lisa Christiansen. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. This applies whether or not you are logged in to the account you used to create the page. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:15, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • REPLY: I was not the one who removed the Speedy Deletion tag. I did add the hangon. I don't know who removed the speedy deletion. If I did, I didn't intend to because I did post the hangon tag after the speedy deletion tag as instructed in the box that appeared on my post. I have been trying diligently to follow all Wikipedia instructions in making my case even though I have now given up at this point. I just don't appreciate my character being attacked when I have not done anything to provoke that. All I have done is ask legitimate questions based on the Wikipedia policies I found and have made changes to my article to try and become compliant with that policy. Yet, there is a lot of second-guessing and false assumptions/accusations being made toward me. Is this how the Wikipedia Community treats all new users? I have been very forthcoming in my communication. Sara-rockworth (talk) 02:40, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If it was not you then apologies. however, the removal was done by an anonymous editor from an IP address which has never done any other editing before or since, and this is almost always an indication that it was in fact the author of the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Reply It was not me. I hadn't even thought about what you were accusing me of... I don't have a different IP that I know of and actually rarely leave my house. I have not left it in several days. Has it ever occurred to you that people do stuff like this to instigate drama? It seems like there are a lot of people who just like to get in here and fight - or start fights - and it really isn't about the process at all.Sara-rockworth (talk) 17:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am willing to accept that it wasn't you, and anyway, it's not really that big a deal. I am genuinely sorry if I seem to have wrongly accused you. JamesBWatson (talk) 18:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
