Skipjack tuna
Thank you for your edits to skipjack tuna. However, adding a category for Hawaiian cuisine is unhelpful, since for consistency we would then have to add many dozens of other country cuisine categories, since tuna is eaten in many countries. Similarly, the statement that tuna is a kosher fish is unhelpful, since all true fish are kosher, and for consistency we would then have to add the statement to thousands of articles on true fish. I meant to remove the statement about kosher fish, not just revert it to the previous statement. (By the way, a phrase like "is felt to be" uses weasel words and should be avoided). I am not an administrator, and if I were, it would not mean that you would be any less likely to lose an argument, so long as your reasoning was sound. If you have an interest on kosher fish, you could start a separate article on the topic! --Geronimo20 (talk) 22:45, 17 July 2009 (UTC) ok
I see that you have made several edits to the philately page to change the definition. The existing definition is supported by the specialised philatelic dictionary cited and the difference, if any, between stamp collecting and philately have been widely debated on the talk pages both of philately and the philately project. If you do not agree with the consensus reached, then either of those pages is the place to take up the matter but until a new concensus is reached then I think the definitions should be left as they are. Thanks. Maidonian (talk) 12:18, 7 September 2009 (UTC) (P.S. Have you considered registering?)
As far as I can tell, "consensus" is reached on wikipedia by the last editor to touch the page, and how vigorously the zealot administrators defend the page. There is no "consensus" but rather who cares least losing the argument and who carries the stronger "twinkle" or other blocking tool.
Review the pages mentioned above. You will see a genuine debate has taken place on definitions over the years. Add your opinion! Register and apply to become an admin! Take part. Maidonian (talk) 13:17, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
When you agree with the "consensus" then you say it's a "debate." When you don't, then you call it an "editwar" or "vandalism." No thanks.

Sin/Samech
I may have used the wrong s, but there was no sin before, and there isn't one now. The words in the intro page read "raphim" and "raph", not seraphim and seraph.CharlesMartel (talk) 14:24, 11 August 2010 (UTC)CharlesMartel
there was and is
No, there wasn't. It said, and you changed back to, רפים and רף. I'm not a fucking idiot; I can read Hebrew, and that says "raph" and "raphim", not seraph and seraphim. There was no sin. Also, sign your commentsCharlesMartel (talk) 14:02, 12 August 2010 (UTC)CharlesMartel

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Seraph. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 22:13, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Seraph. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 22:23, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:38, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I have discovered someone else's vandalism on the "Paul Krugman" page, but I am unable to reverse it because my I am blocked. I want to do good. |3 = ~~~~}}
If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
{{unblock reviewed |1=I have discovered someone else's vandalism on the "Paul Krugman" page, but I am unable to reverse it because my I am blocked. I want to do good. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}
If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here
with your rationale:
{{unblock reviewed |1=I have discovered someone else's vandalism on the "Paul Krugman" page, but I am unable to reverse it because my I am blocked. I want to do good. |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}
