Narcao is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Carbonia-Iglesias in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 40 km west of Cagliari and about 15 km east of Carbonia.

Narcao borders the following municipalities: Carbonia, Iglesias, Nuxis, Perdaxius, Siliqua, Villamassargia, Villaperuccio.

In the frazione of Tarraseo are remains of a Phoenician temple dedicated to the goddess Demetra.
