Cinema were a short-lived band started in 1982 by former Yes members Alan White and Chris Squire, with South African guitarist Trevor Rabin.[1] They had plans to release their debut album in 1983, and were working on a number of songs, most written by Rabin.
Eventually, these musicians were joined by Tony Kaye and Jon Anderson , both founding members of the then-disbanded Yes. They started recording the album 90125, but soon after this the band dropped the name, and continued as "Yes".[2]
An instrumental song from the album 90125 was titled "Cinema".
