Hi! I was browsing recent changes to the encyclopedia, and I noticed that almost all of your edits so far add links to the same web site. You should know that Wikipedia has a pretty big problem with people trying to promote their own web sites in this way, so a lot of editors take a pretty dim view of even the appearance of being here to promote a web site- regardless of how good the web site is. If you're interested in making the encyclopedia better, you can best help by adding content to articles, and then citing the best available sources- we'd love to have your help. If you are interested in promoting your web site, I'm afraid that's something that isn't going to work here. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Olga Grushin. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The sad thing
The sad thing is that I like bookforum.com. I've been reading it for years. It really makes me think less of the web site, knowing that someone there would stoop to spamming. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Scott Bradfield, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
