Reason: making a minor change with obscenities

What happened

The obscenity caught is actually contained in the title of one of the tracks on the album the page is detailing. The edit was genuine. The user appears to have been reverting the track listing to its original form as large-scale edits made to the track listing by the previous user were entirely wrong.

I changed Bicchū Province to Bitchū Province. The former has no article, but the later has an existing Wiki article, which I wanted to provide a link to. Unfortunately, this spelling resembles the obscenity identified by the bot. \"Bitchū\" as in Bitchū Province is certainly not an obscenity or vandalism.

This reversion appears to have been an error. I moved a page and the associated talk page in the same action; but for some reason the bot identified the talk page move (and ONLY the talk page move) as possible vandalism and reverted. Seems worth looking into.

(If I had to guess, it had to do with the sequence of actions; the \"move\" process probably created the redirect a brief moment before populating the new page, which somehow triggered the bot.)

Carlyle\'s essay is properly titled \"Occasional Discourse on the Nigger Question\" and NOT \"Occasional Discourse on the Negro Question.\" For better or worse, \"Nigger\" was in fact the word that he used, not \"Negro.\"

I edited the Carlyle article from \"Negro\" to \"Nigger\" since that is in fact the word used by Carlyle. Apparently ClueBot thinks I was vandalizing the article.

You guys have a lengthy article in Wikipedia for the word \"Nigger,\" so how can its use properly be banned when correctly giving the title of Carlyle\'s essay? We\'re not using the word, simply reporting what others have said and written.

Hi,

ClueBot reverted what I think is a solid edit.

The paragraphs I edited were heavily slanted against the politician whose page is in question. They provide a convoluted and highly selective airing of his voting record that painted a picture of the candidate that was not accurate.

The edits graphs contained many statements made \"by his opponents\" with little regard for their veracity. Many other pieces edited out had little to do with the heading of that section of the article (previously \"Budget Accomplishments\"), but were more about the actions of other local politicians in which the candidate in question played only a tangential part.

This particular portion of the Wiki entry also provided unnecessarily granular detail about only a single aspect of the candidate - again painting an unbalanced picture of his record as a legislator.

I believe that though I removed quite a bit of material from this article, it was warranted, as it contained vast amounts of unverifiable information, uncited statements, and generally read as a hagiography of this individual. It was obviously authored by his own disciples and consisted of material directly from their website. I do not wish to disparage their respect for their teacher, but hagiography does not belong on Wikipedia.

I\'m seriously unimpressed. Oh, and did I mention that I\'m an admin? I\'d expect ClueBot to know the difference between vandal pagemovers and admins (or indeed anyone) moving pages en masse from userspace.
