Professor notability
Please check out WP:PROF for the guidelines on notability regarding articles on professors. Simply being a professor does not disqualify an article from A7. Nakon 21:37, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Help Deleting
Hey can you help me delete the redirect page Duchess of Calabria. I need to move my article to there.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 21:45, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Because of your interaction with the user I thought you would be interested in commenting on the WQA that I have opened on the user. I am willing to try lower levels of user behavior modification before I bump it up to ANI. Thanks for your time and patience. Hasteur (talk) 02:02, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
The Piston Serenata Article
I thought I'd post to clarify what is happening. I have been working with User:Jerome Kohl to create a series of articles covering the major compositions of Walter Piston. In some cases such as Symphony No. 5, Symphony No. 7 & Symphony No. 8 I have only had limited online sources/liner notes to work with. Thus I have created a 'stub' article and Jerome has then come along and expanded the article later.I am surprised at the attention the stub serenata article has attracted as I used exactly the same format as the original versions of the three symphony articles I mentioned aboveGraham1973 (talk) 02:42, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Fire Jenga
Hi malik, got your message. What template would one use for the Fire Jenga article? G3? It appears to be a joke article about a (arguably fun) drinking game, but makes no stab at notability. The authors (there appears to be two) have steadily removed all templates from the article without explanation. Perhaps not worth my troubles, but it does not appear to be a legit attempt at an article. Thanks, The Interior (talk) 02:49, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I think this thing might be a hoax. What do you think of this? The google search hits seems to be centered around this facebook group. While "drunk jenga" is a phenomenon I've heard of, this page seems to lionize the drinking exploits of some Albertans. Sorry to bug you, The Interior (talk) 06:00, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Evelyne Mpoudi Ngole
Hello Malik, I understood that my article Evelyne Mpoudi Ngole: [[1]] was deleted for lack of notability. I think I fixed it by adding an introductory sentence that would help justify the existence of such an article. I also added 3 external links as references for the books and I hope that you will accept the article this time. As a first time user, I am open and would appreciate your suggestions on how to improve my article. I look forward to your reply. Thanks, Ebondji —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ebondji (talk • contribs) 05:24, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, but I think we have lost a list that should be called Minister for Defence Materiel (Australia), not to be confused with Minister for Defence Science and Personnel (Australia), which is somewhat similar.--Grahame (talk) 05:39, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, all fixed.--Grahame (talk) 05:53, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

CertaPro Painters
The Wikipedia page CertaPro Painters has been deleted for (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion (CSDH)). I have read and understand the guidelines that govern page content, and would like to request the original article content back to perform edits. Thank You, 70.164.101.66 (talk) 20:26, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I think the page I deleted was hopelessly promotional. I recommend you write a new article based on what has been written about CertaPro Painters in reliable sources. If I restore the old article, you're going to have to rewrite the whole thing anyway. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 22:44, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Dear Sir, Can You Please Provide Third Party Help? Thank You For Your Time.
Hello!
I felt I was getting nowhere being reasonable with the user Kuru, who I feel is abusing his admin privileges, on his talk page, So I wanted to get a third party to help. Can you please help? Please read our discussion below and let me know your thoughts. Now look at the article in question, Tapioca Express look at its history, and look at the content left. Does it seem right to you? All those contributors making wikipedia a better place, spreading knowledge, and one admin with a problem taking it all down. This was a direct copy and paste from his talk page:
Why was I given a final warning?
You did not provide a reason, additionally, shouldn't a final warning come after a few warnings? This is the only warning I received from you and its already a final warning? Please explain yourself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FrosteaTheSnowman (talk • contribs) 21:04, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've provided a very specific reason, the exact same reason I've provided the last two IPs who have added the same promotional nonsense to that article, not to mention the indefinitely blocked Tapex (talk · contribs) account. If you thought adding copyrighted adcopy cut&pasted from their facebook page would somehow change the response, then you're not paying attention. I'm beginning to think it was a mistake to clean up the puffery from that article instead of deleting the entire thing as was requested by another editor. Kuru (talk) 21:19, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
As you can see by my name, I enjoy tea, you could say I'm a tea connoisseur. I like going on wikipedia to see anything attached to the tea-stub and also find out more about tea shops around my area - Tapioca Express being one of them. I saw that edit warring with Tapioca Express, the way you kept undoing contributors edits, seemed like you had a vendetta against the company, since you bring it back down to barebones without adding any contributions yourself. So I thought I'd make an account and give a neutral POV. I felt my contribution was beneficial to the wikipedia community since it gave a history about the company and also what they serve, getting information from the source itself - yet, you also undid my contribution completely, instead of sourcing it or editing it to add to the article. Please explain yourself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FrosteaTheSnowman (talk • contribs) 18:53, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- Neutral. Sure. Let's see.
- "creates a standard of excellence and a culture of exceptional drinks, foods, and customer service at all locations."
- "is dedicated in providing impeccable services and meets all standards of greatness"
- "best drinks and snacks with the finest of ingredients and recipes"
- "their faithful following can taste and enjoy their special drinks in a cozy and welcoming environment"
- "professionally created with the art of sight, sound, touch, scent and, most importantly, taste."
- "exceptional quality, courteous customer service, and peerless partnership in business. "
- "truly genuine experience in trying these unique Taiwanese drinks."
- "Their experience and wisdom in this culture allows them to bring to you over 100 unique drinks that they have perfected over the past decade."
- You have a definition of 'neutral point of view' that is radically different from the standards we adhere to. If you're still confused as to why your changes have been reverted several times, I would suggest avoiding the article in question. As you are a 'tea connoisseur', there are thousands of other articles you can contribute to that may not suffer from your conflict of interest. Thanks. Kuru (talk) 19:10, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
My changes were only reverted once. I only contributed once to that article. In that one instance, I got a final warning. Are you sure you are looking at my contributions? So if you have a better idea for the article, may I suggest you edit it and contribute yourself, instead of just deleting the entire article? It would be a great service to the wiki tea community - since this company did pioneer the entire boba tea shop invasion that you see all over California, et al., it would do them a huge injustice to leave their article as barebones as you left it. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FrosteaTheSnowman (talk • contribs) 23:58, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
"Right"? Which question does that answer apply to? I also see no new additions to the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.216.25.3 (talk) 00:31, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- Right, as in I'm not buying your nonsense. You claim you've never made any other edits that have been reverted, then you post with one of the IPs that have been reverted. You claim you've added neutral material, when all you've added is puffery. Your apparent lack of honesty makes it unlikely that I'm going to help you. How's this: provide material from independent reliable sources on the article's talk page, and I'll be happy to move them into the article. Until then, there's really not much I can do. The chain is a marginally notable tea chain which was proposed for deletion as spam. Instead of removing the entire article, I've simply removed the promotional material. I'm afraid I have no obligation to help you build it back up. Thanks. Kuru (talk) 00:40, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, now it's a fact that you are mixing me up with someone else. I just created this account recently and I'm pretty sure I know that I've only contributed to this article once. Regardless, I feel if you take away from an article, ANY article, you should have a responsibility to also give back. Additionally, if you have an issue with another user that you had edit warring with, you shouldn't take out that anger on me - even more so, if you have an issue with me, you shouldn't take out that anger on the article. Proposing to delete a completely worthy article because you are upset, now thats just immature and abuse of your privileges. Here's the bottom line: If you feel you know what's best for that article, by all means, contribute to it. Do not just delete everyones contributions.

FYI
Regarding this situation: Per Wikipedia:Copyright violations policy the articles should be blanked via {{subst:copyvio}} as many OTRS emails never give us usable permission. Just thought you should know. Cheers! VernoWhitney (talk) 00:00, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Bakitone International
Bakitone International Hi, I am new to wikipedia and realize now that my article wasn't informative enough. I would like to write another stronger version with a more specific content, links, resources etc. Please allow me to do so. Thank you very much!(Nlunch (talk) 01:53, 23 September 2010 (UTC))

Thank you - but it's not there
Dear Malik,
Thank you so much - I really appreciate you doing that - but when I went to the page there was a huge blowup of COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, looking to all the world like a WANTED poster! - and no article. Do I need to do anything? Please help me out.
Thank you very much. I hope this finds you well.

Thanks
Thanks, Malik, do you know when this might happen? Would it be easier if someone else just wrote the article? Thanks again - Madalyn Junodriving (talk) 04:29, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know -- but I didn't request the speedy
Hey, thanks for letting me know you declined the speedy of Outwrite. I wasn't the one who requested speedy, though, I undid the template's removal by a user whose only contrib was to remove the speedy. I'll let the person who nom'ed it for speedy know about the decline--but not now, I'm running out the door. --- cymru lass (hit me up)⁄(background check) 13:49, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

New original article written from scratch as advised by Wikipedia - is this okay?
Hello Malik,
Sorry to bother you again - and thank you for all your help so far - a new original article has been written from scratch for "Madalyn Aslan", and I wondered if this one can override the last article (which has been sent to the OTRS team for dispute). I posted it where advised. What happens now? Thanks so much for helping me out.
P.S. Malcolm X is one of my heroes! I wrote about him and quoted him in my book, "Madalyn Aslan's Jupiter Signs" (he's Taurus Sun with Capricorn Jupiter!)
Best to you,
