State Route 257 is a southwest-northeast state route located in the central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's western terminus at Interstate 75 in Cordele, the route runs northeast, passing through Hawkinsville, Chester, and Dexter, to its eastern terminus at U.S. Route 319/U.S. Route 441/State Route 31 in Dublin. The portion of the route in Laurens County was numbered as State Route 277 until 1959.[1]
