Teenage Paparazzo received positive reviews from critics. Jeniffer Merin of About.com gave the film four out of five stars, saying "Grenier not only does a very good job of considering the many nuances of the relationship between paparazzi and celebrities, his presentation is thoroughly entertaining." [3] David Chen of Slash Film.com praised Teenage Paparazzo as well, commenting "Teenage Paparazzo Austin Visschedyk actually proves to be an incredibly fascinating individual and documentary subject.
