Running Wild In The 21st Century is a compilation album by the Canadian hard rock band Helix originally to be released in October 2010, but now delayed until spring 2011. Although not on the album, it takes its name from the 1990 Helix song "Running Wild In The 21st Century". It will be their 23rd official release, and their 7th compilation album. It will consist of Helix tracks from the last decade, solo material from frontman Brian Vollmer, and two unreleased songs.[1][2] The intended inclusion of the AC/DC classic "It’s a Long Way To the Top (If You Wanna Rock and Roll)" was met with orders from AC/DC lawyers to cease and desist. The song will be replaced with a new original track, causing the delay in release.[3]
