Branchinecta barstowensis is a species of Anostraca that inhabited Lake Barstow during the middle Miocene (13.4 million years ago).Cite error: The <ref>
tag has too many names (see the help page). Its' fecal material is abdundant in the concretions from the Barstow Formation. A limited number of whole specimens have been found.
