Down There is the upcoming debut solo album by Animal Collective member David Portner (stage name Avey Tare) to be released October 26, 2010 on Paw Tracks. Down There was recorded in the month of June by old friend Josh Dibb (Deakin) at the Good House, an old church in upstate New York.[1] "Lucky 1" was officially released for download as the first single on October 5th, 2010. [2] "Oliver Twist" was leaked un-officially shortly afterward.
