Robert A. Gilbert was born in Bristol, UK. His father was an "unbeliever" who used to take his son to jumble sales at a small esoteric church in Bristol, Gilbert would get involved with a discussion circle attached to the Church, and that was the start of his research into the mysterious and esoteric.[1].
He has written a number of books including biographies of Arthur Edward Waite [2], [3].
Gilbert has given talks at many conferences
