'NetDrive' is a FTP and WebDAV client software produced by MacroData Inc. for Microsoft Windows, first launched in 2006, it initially developed and licensed by Novell for distribution with Novell NetWare servers. NetDrive uses the iFolders protocol to map a drive letter on a Windows workstation to a NetWare server. This software's features were:

  • Data transfer by drag and drop files in Windows explorer
  • Able to execute files(video, audio and any other .exe files)
  • Able to run NetDrive as a system service when Windows starts
  • Mounts drive automatically on system start
  • Support FTP, WebDAV and iFolder. No SFTP support.

Licensing

The full-featured NetDrive is available, free of charge, for non-commercial home use. Commercial and educational use requires a software license to be purchased.

The software has been discontinued by Novell, and is no longer available from that company.
