References numbers 5, 6, 7, and 8 appear to be empty apart from a single digit. Are these about to be filled with a citation (e.g. web-site URL), or are they a mistake? At present they are confusing as they imply a reference has been given for a particular fact, when in reality there is no reference. I intend to remove these empty refs unless any objects strongly. -- MightyWarrior (talk) 09:30, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Questionable connectivity
I am a Norvelt native and Greensburg Central Catholic HS graduate. However, I question the connection of the two in this article that is about Norvelt. It is quite a stretch to use athletics as a bridge. There is no connectivity between the two (i.e. Norvelt and GCCHS) and no validity to any inclusion.
There is perhaps a connectivity between athletes from Norvelt who attended GCCHS but that is much more appropriately included in an article about GCCHS.

Wow small world. I'm also a Norvelt native and GCCHS graduate. While every local sports program was covered in the sports section and looks good, I also feel that the athletes from Norvelt be included on the GCCHS and MPAHS articles. We don't have Pitt and Penn State sections even though a lot of Norvelt natives went two those perspective schools. This article should really only list the Colts and the historic Hurst HS teams, since they are the only two teams based in Norvelt. --Pennsylvania Penguin (talk) 14:55, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
