Tara Smith is a full professor of philosophy [[1]]at the University of Texas at Austin and author of books on rights, ethics and values. Her published work includes Viable Values: A Study of Life as the Root and Reward of Morality, Moral Rights and Political Freedom, and the forthcoming Ayn Rand's Normative Ethics from Cambridge University Press.
