The 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards will take place on November 7, 2010 at Caja Mágica in Madrid. The award show will be presented by Eva Longoria.[1] The nominations for the 2010 MTV EMA's were announced on September 20.[2] Katy Perry, Rihanna and Lady Gaga topped the list of nominees with five followed by Eminem with four and 30 Seconds to Mars and Muse with three apiece.[3] Voting for regional categories were closed on October 18, and the winner from each region were enter the shortlist for Best European Act.
