RSA 99.1 FM (Radio Sol de Almijara) is a cultural radio station installed in Nerja, in Southern Spain.

RSA broadcasts on the 99.1 FM wavelength and covers the eastern part of Axarquia, on the Costa del Sol, in the east of the province of Malaga, within the Andalucia region of Southern Spain. The core transmission area radiates from Nerja and takes in the surrounding towns.

RSA 99.1 FM, the radio station is a production of ACSA, Asociación Cultural Sol de Almijara, a not for profit association officially registered in Malaga, Spain.

ACSA

ACSA, Asociación Cultural Sol de Almijara promotes multicultural understanding and collaboration through cultural, educational, social, artistic and other creative activities.

The choice of founding members reflects the multi-cultural flavour of the Associacion Cultural Sol de Almijara (ACSA).

  • Norbert Barnich, a Belgian who brings advanced film making and radio technical experience to the table.
  • Mark Shurey, an Englishman, also a flamenco guitarist, musician and osteopath by trade.
  • Dr. Benjamin Dwyer, one of Ireland's leading contemporary musicians and composers.
  • Jose Manuel Cabezas, a Spaniard, head of the English Department at the Nerja high school, IES Almijara.
  • Dr Dorothy Price is the president of the Associacion Cultural Sol de Almijara (ACSA). She is best known locally for founding the Nerja History Group and is broadcasting as 'Dr Dot' with RSA 99.1 FM.

Radio Sol de Almijara, RSA 99.1fm, is at the heart of this association.
