Claes Elfsberg

Claes Elfsberg (born November 26 1948) is a Swedish television presenter and one of Sweden's best known journalists.

Elfsberg grew up in Svedmyra in southern Stockholm. He worked for the SVT daily news program "Rapport" in for several decades until he became "ombudsman of the viewers" in 2004. By then, he had become a news anchor, Sweden's answer to Sir Trevor McDonald or Dan Rather.

He is currently married and has three children from an earlier marriage.
