Tania Strecker (born 26 June 1973)[1] is a Danish model and television presenter in the UK.

Her break into TV began with Channel 4's Naked Elvis,[2] and she then co-hosted MTV's SELECT with Richard Blackwood. After a couple of more presenting jobs, she joined The Big Breakfast with Richard Bacon, and then Beachmate.[3]

Physique

At 6 feet (1.8 m) tall, Strecker is frequently featured in the press and various men's magazines, primarily due to her incredibly long 37 inches (94 cm) legs — known as the Streckers. "Small girls may have the advantage when young, but tall ones usually win in the end," says Strecker. After implying in a radio interview that she was still Guy Ritchie's girlfriend when he started seeing Madonna, Strecker declared that Madonna "is frightened of me. That's because I am so tall and she is so small."

Personal life

She is the daughter of Maren Enthoven, an ex-model, and her stepfather, David Strecker and spent most of her life in London, but spent 2 years between the ages 5–7 in Los Angeles, the U.S. Her mother divorced her father, an asset manager when she was very young. Strecker is of Danish (mother) and Argentinian (father) descent.[4][5][6]

Her ex-boyfriends include Alastair Patterson (IT Boy & Entrepreneur) Guy Ritchie, and Robbie Williams.[7][8] Her break-up with Guy Ritchie is the inspiration for the Robbie Williams/Pet Shop Boys song "She's Madonna."[9]

She has a daughter, Mia (born 1996),[10] from a previous relationship with pubowner, James Mosbacher. They married, when she was 22, though the marriage was short-lived.[11]

In 2005 she married Anthony James de Rothschild,[12][13] eldest son of Sir Evelyn de Rothschild and Victoria Schott.[14]
