MUDANYA(ancient Apamea Myrlea), a town of Turkey, on the south coast of the Sea of Marmora. It is connected with Brusa by a railway and a carriage road, and with Constantinople by steamers. Olive oil is produced. Mudanya has only an open anchorage usable in calm weather. There is a pier used by local fishing and cargo boats.The town has all services, banks and good shopping.
