Mr. Whitekeys is notable as a source of Alaskan comedy, satire, and parody, and was also the proprietor of the Fly By Night Club in the Spenard area of Anchorage, Alaska.[1] [2] Whitekeys is the author of Mr. Whitekeys' Alaska Bizarre: Direct from the Whale Fat Follies Revue, the editor of The Alaska Almanac: Facts About Alaska, and released the DVD titled Alaska: The First 10,000 Years[3] in 2008. He also regularly contributes a column to Alaska Magazine,[4] and periodically makes appearances on the Anchorage Channel 2 News on KTUU and performs with various musical acts in the Anchorage area as a keyboard player.

Whitekeys's video, Alaska: The First 10,000 Years, provides a humorous and vaudeville-esque account of some important events in Alakan history. Alaska: The First 10,000 Years also contains cameo appearances from several notable figures, including United States Senators Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich, former United States Senator Ted Stevens, former Alaska governors Walter J. Hickel and Tony Knowles, and Iditarod champion Martin Buser. The video also contains original music: one song is credited in part to Alaska Court of Appeals Judge David Mannheimer, and a song and dance number satirizing then-Governor Sarah Palin (apparently filmed in Wasilla, Alaska) titled "Girls Just Wanna Have Guns" was set to the music of the Cindi Lauper hit.
