Sam Pivnik

Sam Pivnik was born in 1926 in Bedzin, in South-western Poland near the border with Germany. During six months at Auschwitz, he became acquainted with both Otto Moll and Joseph Mengele. He survived the sinking of the Cap Arcona, following an attack by aircraft of the RAF.
