Gary P. Naftalis (born 1941) is one of the nation’s leading trial lawyers.

Education

Naftalis attended Rutgers (A.B., Phi Beta Kappa, 1963), Brown (M.A., 1965), Columbia (LL.B., 1967).

Career

Rakoff was in private practice, from 1970-1972. He was an Assistant U.S. attorney, from 1973-1980. He returned to private practice from 1980-1995 before being appointed to the bench.
