Lamar Hoover

Lamar Hoover was the 13th head college football coach for Fairmount College (now Wichita State University) located in Wichita, Kansas and he held that position for four seasons, from 1916 until 1917 and again from 1921 until 1922. His overall coaching record at Fairmount College was 18 wins, 14 losses, and 4 ties. This ranks him fourth at Wichita State in terms of total wins and 13th at Wichita State in terms of winning percentage.[1]
Hoover's final season at Fairmont began promisingly but ended with disappointing losses.[2]
