SORRY, CLEAN UP NEEDED HERE. THIS ARTICLE IS ANYTHING BUT OBJECTIVE, AND IS WHAT MAKES ME PUKE WHEN I THINK ABOUT WIKIPEDIA. NEEDS SOME SERIOUS EDITING, FOLKS!
I have roughly introduced a subjective element regarding Lime's influence on House music. I trust it will be adjusted as necesarry. Ideally someone will find a reputable quote on the subject. Unfortunately the group's dismissal by the major critics continues. Dance music fans and DJ's know instantly the importance of this band. Please fellow fans, let's get Denis and Denyse their due! The horrible treatment of this group vis-a-vis online biographical information and due credit for influence has stirred something in me: I am guilty of love (to paraphrase Denis Lepage). Source has been provided for Denis Lepage selling his rights to royalties. I'm unfamiliar with Wiki formatting and more concerned with fleshing-out this page so corrections/edits are so much appreciated and sorry if I'm being sloppy. Lime had many hits worthy of thoughtful critique, please help with this area if you can, as developing the critique of "angel eyes" has both educated and exhausted me (and it really needs more trimming...). The word bassline should be removed after TR-808. TR-808 are electronic drums, not a bass. Thanks for pointing that out, I've fixed it. My initial writings were aiming at describing why Lime stands out in their field and in their time. I'm glad someone echoed my call to clean up my mess here, wish more dance-music junkies would lend thoughts and tighten up my writing a bit.
cleanup tag
I have added a cleanup tag to this article, especially pertaining to the second paragraph which is very hard to follow because it looks just like a very long run-on sentence with almost no formatting and wikilinks and it looks to be filled with a lot of POV and some kind of history on the structure of dance music although I am not sure exaclty how this relates to Lime and their singles but nevertheless it's just one big muddled mess that is a long run-on sentence which I mentioned before and we all know that it is not good to have a run-on sentence in an encyclopedia so it should definitely be reformatted so that it doesn't drone on and on without really saying much about the subject of the article so anyway where was I, oh yes I remember, this article needs cleanup and I hope other people agree because run-on sentences are bad ok thanks. -- eo 00:18, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
To appreciate Lime it's impossible to ignore the structure of dance records, it's got to be included somehow and my hope was and still is that someone can get a clue from my mess and take it where it needs to be. Sorry for any POV (subjective elements), but how can any art form avoid such description?-
