Vasily Artemiev (born 24 July 1987) is a Russian rugby union footballer. He plays as a wing.

Career

Artemiev's representative honours include Leinster Schools,U19’s & U20’s, Irish Schools & Irish U’19’s. Vasily came to Blackrock College RFC from Russia and won schools Junior and Senior Cup medals there. He played for the successful Irish Universities side in 2007.

He has returned to his native Moscow and now plays professionally for the VVA-Podmoskovye club.

He has currently 14 caps for Russia, since 2009, he has scored 3 tries since his debut. He has also recently been linked to Guinness Premiership giants, Northampton Saints.
