Other brake pads

This article is focused only on vehicular brake pads. Brkae pads also exist on bicycles. Standard brakes on a bicycle are rubber pads that clamp against the braking surface of the wheel rims. Some bicycles utilize disc brakes. Disk brakes for a bicycle operate almost exactly like the disk brakes of a car.
