I'm curious how the article doesn't seem to know where he went or what he did after escaping the BC Penitentiary, but it has an exact date of death. Surely if they know the date of death, they at least know whether he was in the US or Canada at that time? Ptomblin (talk) 13:38, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Buried loot at Silverdale??
It heppens that I went to elementary school in Silverdale (that's middle school in the US) and when I saw the bit:
Some speculate that Miner left a hidden cache of loot in the forests south of Silverdale after the first robbery. Some believe he used these funds to fund his escape, while others surmise that there is still hidden loot to be found there.
That's news to me as it 's a famous story locally. And "in the woods south of Silverdale", meaning south of where the robbery took place I guess, are on the other side of the Fraser River; I know the spot the robbery happened, at teh east end of Silverdale Flats; there's only a few dozen yards, if that, between the river and the dyke that is also where the CPR tracks are. "in the woods around Silverdale, maybe, as Silverdale is pretty large. But not south of it, unless they had a boat ready to cross the river with. Whoever added that, please line-cite it and also explain what's meant, as right now the wording is an impossibility...unless a boat is involved.....Skookum1 (talk) 01:49, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"Ezra Allen Miner" vs George Edwards
The name George Edwards (or was it Ralph Edwards), his alias, is not mentioned in the article, though it's in various sources. Why is that? Never actually heard the "Ezra Allen" part before....I thought "Miner" was the alias, not the birth-name.....Skookum1 (talk) 05:41, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
