South Caicos is one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Turks and Caicos islands archipelago, with only 1200 residents. It's known for the excellent fishing (both deep sea and bone fishing) and scuba diving there.

For most people, the highlight of the year is the Annual South Caicos Regatta, where there are island-wide parties, boat races, and other games.
