Politics and Language This is the title of the book written by veteran social scientist, researcher late Prof. [Y. D. Phadke.] It was published in 1979. It explains and analyses the Samyukta Maharashtra Movement (SMM). The SMM finally resulted in the creation of separate state of Maharashtra - a state of Marathi speaking people in India.
