Hi, my name is Tatiana Grisby. I am a Freshman Biology major at Georgia Southern University, the best little college in Georgia! I am an alumni of A._R._Johnson_Health_Science_and_Engineering_Magnet_High_School as well as C._T._Walker_Traditional_Magnet_School. Throughout my scholastic career, I have always aimed to be above the average. I always put my best foot forward. My "only settle for the best and nothing less" attitude has helped me receive numerous awards and scholarships including the HOPE_Scholarship . I was the recipient of "The Highest Overall Class Average" in each subject, many times Kindergarten through eighth grade. I received the Presidential Award twice. I was inducted into the National_Beta_Club in sixth grade and the National Honor Society my Sophomore year of high school. I was also an active member of HOSA. I graduated number 14 in my graduating class from A._R._Johnson_Health_Science_and_Engineering_Magnet_High_School with a GPA of 3.6. Although, I spend the majority of my time doing schoolwork or studying, I always make time to hang out with my family members and friends. I love meeting new people and trying new things. In my spare time, I usually visit social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, shop, go out to eat, listen to music, or take pictures.

Contributions to Wikipedia

I have made minor edits on various projects on Wikipedia. I also created the article on Walton Rehabilitation Center. I plan to do more Wikipedia projects in the future and will continue to update and improve my article on Walton Rehab.

I love technology and always find it interesting to learn new things. I really enjoy learning how to manipulate new software and computer programs. I've become proficient at several photo editing sites including Picasa, Photoshop , and Fotoflexer. Back when Myspace was popular, I learned to master all the html codes, create customized backgrounds and comment boxes, and hide certain sections of the page. I'm currently obsessed with all the new technology surrounding Android_(operating_system) cellular phones and I even own one, the Samsung_Intercept to be exact. It's amazing to me to see just how far technology has come over these past few years.

How 'Bout That "Wiki"?!

Prior to creating my own Wikipedia article, I questioned the notability of Wikipedia. As many of my other classmates have stated, all throughout high school and middle school, I was told that Wikipedia "Is not a reliable source." After my experience on Wikipedia however, I feel differently. While creating my article on Walton_Rehabilitation_Hospital, I was constantly harassed about the notability of my topic. I also had to find several credible resources to support any information that I included in my article. After several weeks of editing and fighting for my article, it was finally removed from being tagged for deletion. I now consider many Wiki articles to be notable because if they weren't, I'm sure they would either be up for deletion or would have been deleted.

I am a native speaker and writer of American_English. In high school, I took Spanish_language as my foreign language during both my Freshmen and Sophomore year.
