"Control Myself" is the first single from LL Cool J's 12th album Todd Smith, due for release in February/March 2006 worldwide ahead of the album's release on May 2nd 2006. The track features Jennifer Lopez and Jermaine Dupri and is also produced by Dupri.

The Song

The song is a heavy hitting club, dance track and basically explains how LL is so hot, character Shayeeda (Lopez) even considers leaving her man for him. LL is also taken back by Shayeeda's presence.

The music video was directed by Hype Williams and was filmed at Sony Studios In New York on January 2nd, 2006. It was debuted on MTV and BET on February 13th, 2006.
