Mozhdah Jamalzadah, known as Mozhdah, is an Afghan singer, model born in Kabul, Afghanistan Her father is from Herat, and mother from Kabul. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. She has completed a program in Broadcast Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is studying Philosophy and Political Science at the University of British Columbia (references needed).
Mozhdah has modeled for Fashion week, Cosmopolitan, and Asian Woman Magazine. She emerged as a singer in 2007 and has been on several tours. Mozhdah's first album is to be released early 2009.
Mozhdah recently signed a one year deal with 1TV to host her own talk show called "MOZHDAH" where she will have musical guests on a regular basis. She currently resides in Wazir Akbar Khan in Kabul, Afghanistan. She has also recently signed a 2 year American record deal for her next album which will be in English. It is not known when she will be releasing her first single from that album.
