This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.cifiaonline.com/shaikhasedullahquadri.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:04, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:13, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Guide99. You have new messages at Talk:Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri.

A tag has been placed on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi Guide99. Thanks for your submission at Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri - I notice you contest the deletion of the page, but removed the speedy deletion tag at the same time. Because you created the page, you must not remove the original tags at the same time as you place the {{hangon}}. I've had to put the original tag back, but as you've contested deletion, it will be down to an administrator to decide what happens. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you understand. A tag has been placed on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

It's not enough for the copyright holder to release his material just for use on Wikipedia. Instead, he must release the material for the entire world to use. We do not use material that retains its copyright, because we allow anyone else to re-use our material for any purpose.

You can release the material by entering it into the public domain, or by releasing it under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA), which amounts to basically the same thing. If you do this, anyone may use the material for any reason, including attacks on Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri.

Are you sure you want to do this?

If for some odd reason you do, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more details. Basically, the usual way to do this is to add the following message to your web site:

The text of this website is available for modification and reuse under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License and the GNU Free Documentation License (unversioned, with no invariant sections, front-cover texts, or back-cover texts).

I strongly suggest that, instead, you rewrite the article in your own words. Herostratus (talk) 13:24, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri has written to Wikipedia the following letter today again.

To:permissions-en@wikimedia (dot) org Date 28.6.2010

Dear Gentlemen:

I, Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri have authorized 'Habib", (User ID Guide99 Wikipedia) and to Wikipedia to use the contents at page http://www.correctislamicfaith.com/abouttheshaikh.htm.

This is my third letter to Wikipedia. I don't know what is going on in Wikipedia. There does not seem to be an organized system in your organization. Mr. Habib complaints that his page is deleted in spite of written permissions.

SHAIKH MIR ASEDULLAH QUADRI OWNER www.correctislamicfaith.com www.cifiaonline.com

Since the Shaikh has permitted to use the entire page in free domain, I hope Wikipedia will publish my page as soon as possible.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.correctislamicfaith.com/abouttheshaikh.htm, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under allowance license, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 13:43, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since we do not yet have verification of permission by the processes set out above and sufficient time has passed since the placement of the notice, the article has been deleted for copyright concerns. This deletion is not necessarily permanent. If you have already sent a letter to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) and GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) (if you are not the copyright holder or have co-authored the material, release under CC-BY-SA-compatible license alone is sufficient), the article will be restored when that letter is received and processed by the Wikimedia Communications committee. Likewise, if you have not yet sent a letter, you still may (or resend it, if you believe your original may have been lost), and the article will be restored when that letter is received and processed.

As Wikipedia does not require proof of identity on account creation, it is essential that we receive external proof of authorization in order to ensure that we remain compliant with US Copyright law. It is also essential that we verify that copyright holders understand the extent of the release they are authorizing, in that our licenses permit modification and reuse in any forum, even commercial publication, as long as authorship credit is maintained and future copies are compatibly licensed.

Please note that once permission is verified, the material may be evaluated and altered to meet Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Although we appreciate donations, we cannot guarantee that material donated will be retained.

Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:41, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Naik as Salafi

Hi. If you want a source that says that Zakir Naik is a Salafi, see this: [1] . I have no idea how reliable the CIFIA is, however. Regards, Jeff5102 (talk) 10:38, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Guide99, I respectfully agree with Jeff5102. There is nothing wrong with stating that Zakir Naik is a Salafi if he is a Salafi, but there is something incorrect in making a statement about a person's faith without a reliable source. If you think the source mentioned by Jeff5102 is reliable (I'm unsure myself), why not add it?GorgeCustersSabre (talk) 17:35, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Genuine Dispute

There is a genuine dispute of edit on Dr. Zakir Naik's page. I explained above that it is in the best interest of (Wikipedia, Dr. Naik, and truthfulness of information) and neutrality that the edit is not reverted. I thought I was protecting the image of Wikipedia.

I would appreciate to be explained, answered properly and convinced, rather than silenced menacingly.
